The Puppet Theatre Performance "Dog's Tale" after K. Chapek's tale has become a nominee of the National Theatrical Premium and the Festival "Golden Mask 2009" The Puppet Theatre of Karelia will be presenting Karelian theatrical art at the "Golden Mask"Festival in spring 2009 for the second time. This time the performance of "Dog's Tale" by K. Chapec will compete in Moscow with the shows of puppet theatres from StPetersburg, Abacan and Mytischi. The performance will take part in all four nominations: in the main one - "The Best show" and three specific - "Director's Work", "Artist's Work", "Actors Work" - Alexander Tretyakov, the star part of Vorzhishek.
On the whole 49 performances of 41 theatres from 15 Russian cities will take part at the festival.

The theatre is going to Spainish cities for the concert tour sinca 18 December 2008 to January 2009 The actors will show the play for the youngest children «TheTale about a Silly Mouseling» after the works by famous Russian writer Samuel Marshak'ÿ Ñàìóèëà Ìàðøàêà.
